Cushion tears. OK, I loved mine and wore them out. What "goes" first is the cushiony stuff. It tears and becomes hugely uncomfortable. I put in insoles and wore them more as boating shoes until I had completely wrecked them. All in all, I had a good two years of wearing them about daily, and then several more months of wearing them as canoeing shoes with inserts. I'm saving up to get another pair, but if I had the money I would get a pair in each color and wear nothing else for several decades. Next time though, I think I'll use inserts first to try to make the cushions last longer.

Walking on clouds in style. This is the most ergonomic shoe I've ever bought. The shape of the shoe molds to the foot very well (no annoying pointy toes or tight bridge). The inserts are shaped like egg crates and feel SO soft. The look of the shoe is conservative, but elegant. THEY HAD MY SIZE, too! 10 1/2! 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to get office shoes as comfortable as sneakers, but as pretty as normal uncomfy shoes.

This shoe intriged me very much. As I walk on concrete floors 8-10 hours a day passing medications, I wanted a shoe that would comfort me by the end of the shift. I ordered an 8 WW and the width was PERFECT but it was half a size to long and my heal kept slipping. The top of the shoe cut into my foot, was better if I removed the pillows, but I ordered it specifically for the pillow comfort. I have sent them back for an exchange for the Alpha 1 shoe which has lace ties so I can adjust to the high part of my foot. I still recommend them to others, and showed them to fellow nurses at work, and told them how to get to zappos.com for the best shopping EVER!

SoftWalk's Review After an expensive trip to my local podiatrist because of foot problems due to poorly fitting shoes, I finally decided to find a pair of shoes that fit my wide feet. I searched the Internet looking for well constructed shoes that received good reviews. I came upon Zappos. First off, Zappos is great. A reliable, quick service that offers free shipping and free returns. No other online shoe store does that. And the Web site is easy to navigate. I was able to find all styles for wide feet quickly and easily. Now that's service! And the site provides SSL encryption security so no need to worry about online credit card charges. Now, the shoes. Wow, when I opened the box and saw the "little pillows" for the footbed I couldn't believe it. You can't really tell from the photograph, but the footbed is soft and cushiony - like a mattress. I was amazed when I tried them on - they fit perfectly and I felt like I was walking on air. The shoes and the toe box were wide enough to fit "real" feet. I didn't feel like I had to cram my feet into narrow, pointy-toed shoes that were made for gnats. The shoes are the most comfortable I have ever worn. And they work well with the casual dress environment in Silicon Valley. I'm in the process of replacing my entire shoe wardrobe with SoftWalks and Hush Puppies. If you are unsure about these shoes, give them a chance. Your feet will thank you.

Softwalk's Adora This is the most comfortable shoe I ever wore. It feels as if my feet are resting on pillows.

3RD Pair of SoftWalks -- and I Want More! This is my third pair of SoftWalks - I have black pair and tan pair of Luna's. My latest acqusition, the Adora, is terrific. Fits like a glove, I feel like my feet are being massaged even when sitting! I love the mogels! If you are going from the open shoe to closed - give yourself a chance to reacclimate -- you get a little "sloppy" in the open shoe! Really outstanding!

I have very wide feet, and it is very hard to find comfortable shoes. These are the first pair I have had since my pregnancy that I don't want to take off!! They feel absolutely fabulous, and look like the dansko (which I love) I am a convert!

This is a nice looking shoe. I was so looking forward to wearing it because of the nice cushioned foot bed and good arch support. The width of the toes is perfect, but the heel slides up and down. I suspect I have medium wide toes and narrow heels, because I have this problem with most loafer style shoes. So if you are a true medium, heels and toes, go for it. It is a good quality, attractive shoe.

I normally wear a 12 W even though my left foot is 1/2 size smaller. Although I love the look and feel of this shoe, it fits my smaller foot therefore, I can't fit my right foot into it.

This is my second review. I wrote a previous review about the 7.5 WW and 8 WW feeling like they were exactly the same size, and both much too small for my reliably 7.5 W feet. Well, I threw a Hail Mary, and am trying the 8.5 WW. And hah, they are just a tad too large! But I will stick with this pair, because they do fit with the eggcrate insole in, and I can and will wear thicker socks over the winter, so they will work okay. Too bad the sizing is not consistent. Possibly some kind of quality control issue. I like these shoes, and am glad to have tried one last time, because they are quite comfy. A word of warning, if you have a very high instep. These may cut across your instep. When they have black back in stock, I'll buy a pair of those.

I have large, but narrow feet (12N). These shoes were very comfortable, but they appear bulky so I did not get them. They fit very well. Plenty (but not too much) toe box room for the big toe.

Very soft and cushioned bottom, but they do run small. I needed to return my original size and ordered a half size larger. The instep is a little lower than it looks in the picture (more of the top of your foot shows).

I usually wear 8.5 or 9, but the 9 was too small in every respect. No 9.5 available alas, seems as though it would be a very comfy shoe. Gave it 4 stars for that.

The shoe is very comfortable, but slightly tight across the top. It's a little clunky looking and heavier than I would like.

The heel was too wide, the shoes flipped/flopped as I walked. They would have given my heels blisters. However, on a brighter note: I have had a foot operation on the right foot on the big knuckle to have a bunion removed. I cannot stand anything like a seam or knot of raw hide to hit on that place due to the fact it is tender.This operation took place 25 years ago. So, this shoe has no such stitchings or knots to get in the way of the width of the foot being comfortable. Other than the wider heel, this shoe is a good shoe for comfort.
