I'll admit right off the bat, I have pretty high standards when it comes to work and dress shoes. I commute on foot, and I have enough stuff to carry without packing my nice shoes, too. I need shoes that not only look both cool and work-appropriate but can help me survive a 5-mile round trip blister and callous free. Happily, these beauties pass the test! They look great with skirts or trousers, the footbed is fairly cushioned, and they are a lot of fun. Two caveats: they are a little bit more shiny than the picture suggests and the toe box is a little tight at first (but stretched to a true-to-size fit within the first two wears). Finally some practical footwear that's not clunky, overly casual, or geriatric! And for the price I can afford the brown ones as well!

I love this shoe. It looks great with dress slacks & is so comfortable. I wear an 8.5 medium to wide with and the 8.5 wide is perfect in this shoe.

These are great white oxfords. Very, very comfortable with a squishy, soft sole. The leather is thick and looks rich. I love the shape of the shoe: a very slim profile and almond toe. White oxfords are trendy right now and these are an excellent version! They will last forever. Highly recommended.

Great shorts shoe. I like the fact that the interior of the shoe is lined and soft against my skin. It provides just enough protection and yet is light weight. I ordered a half size smaller, since I would always be wearing them without socks.

These are the best plain lace up oxfords out there! This style is popular now and these fit the look very well. They're well made, very comfortable after a day of breaking in and look so cool in white. They have the perfect almond shaped toe and slim, form fitting shape. I especially prefer this sole to other oxfords as they are comfy, flexible and don't slip. They look great with skinny jeans and short shorts & skirts. I'm wanting the pewter color now.

I found these to be exactly what I had hoped. The leather is soft and the support is really good. The fit is good and they look nice but are a really good walking shoe.

Terrific! I wore them with white wide-legged pants, a navy top and looked for all the world like a 1935-er. They are more comfortable than they appear. The \r\nlast word in chic Tennis anyone?

Super cute! These shoes fit extremely well and feel like butter. I love wearing them with jeans, shorts, and skirts. They are such a classic style that they can be worn with almost anything. I have a slightly larger foot and these are not uncomfortable at all. I am extremely happy with my purchase!

I ordered a 7W for my moderately wide feet. The sole of the shoe was not quite wide enough, but the leather upper was very accommodating and stretched to fit my foot within minutes (literally). The foot pad is cushy and pretty comfortable. I wore them an entire day while shopping and while my feet were a little sore by the end of the day, they were much better than any other shoe I've tried (except tennis shoes). The heel is a little wide for my narrow heel, but not so much that it is a problem. Got tons of compliments on them, too!

These shoes are great right out of the box. So comfortable. Get complements every time I wear them.

These shoes are a steal! I had been looking for a pair of affordable, feminine oxfords, and the Bass Chrissie fit the bill. The shoe runs a half size larger in length, but the width is true to size. I appreciate that Bass produces shoes in different widths, as I have a wide foot and a high arch/instep. The leather is not the most luxurious, but it is soft and flexible, and the side edges do not rub against my ankle (because they are cut fairly low). Because the sole is rubber, they are extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. A perfect combination of style, comfort, and affordability!

I love my shoes by Bass. They do run on the big side. I am a true 9, sometimes a 9 1/2. I don't have narrow nor wide feet and I found these shoes run big and wide for me. I would recommend a 1/2 size smaller and maybe even a narrow.

Shoes are comfy and true to size however, I can't decide whether the shoes are cute or remind me of nun wear.

I got a size 6 because so many said it ran true to size, but I found it to be a 1/2 size small. I chose the gold color. It kind of has a greenish cast to it, so it was kind of odd. Not sure what I would wear it with. I really wanted to like this shoe, but I didn't.

I am fairly happy with this shoe. I got them to wear to work as my uniform should be "classic American work wear". I am on my feet anywhere from 6 hours a day to 15, so I really expect a lot. This shoe could be more cushioned. It does start to hurt after four hours or so, and I can't really wear them everyday. I ordered a 7W because my feet start to swell during my shift. I wear them with skinny jeans and a button down shirt. They have worked out pretty well during the summer months when it's too hot to wear boots. I must admit, I do wish the toe was a little rounder.

I needed some shoes that were stylish and VERY comfortable for an international flight and lots of walking once I arrived. These fit the bill.

These Chrissies were to replace an old pair I\'ve had for a couple years. Although I ordered the same size and width, this new pair is made quite differently and the material is not as supple. I\'m disappointed!

I've been looking for a shoe like this for years, so I was very excited to order it. Unfortunately there was a huge gap on the outside of the shoe. I could easily fit two fingers in it. Otherwise the fit was perfect, so there was no reason to order a different size. What a disappointment. Especially since it was my first Zappos order. But considering there is no charge for shipping returns, all is not lost. I've already ordered another pair of shoes and eagerly await their arrival.

For those of us who need a comfort shoe, this is a good alternative to a sport shoe or clunky walking shoe. It's shape is slimmer and when covered with a pant passes for a jazz oxford. The narrow width, while fitting in the heel, is a little snug across the base of the toes. However, I expect them to stretch with wear. These are not high quality, but certainly more than adequate for the price.

I knew that little basic oxfords are the hottest thing right now; but skip these if you are under the age of 80. I figured these would be a cute little casual shoe, but I was horribly mistaken. Nothing about these is cute in real life and I immediately returned them.

I purchased this shoe expecting it to be like shoes worn years ago. However it is made from very poor quality and looked cheap. Additionally it was not wide as I ordered. Terrible, not worth the price at all.

Comfortable, stylish alternative to ballet flats for those whose feet need more support. I am glad oxfords are in now because I can't wear those cute flats everyone is wearing nowadays since my feet are so flat and I pronate a lot when I walk. They were comfortable right out of the box. I am a fan.

These are so comfortable once you've broken them in! Unlike normal oxfords, these shoes have a rubber sole as opposed to a wooden heel, providing more friction and less probability of tripping. A more casual variation of the oxford shoe. Great for work!

These shoes are AMAZING! They are my first pair of oxfords, and I was worried because I have size 10 feet and usually this style makes my feet look like 2x4s. They look even cuter in person, the color is more subtle and a bit shiny...very very cute! They also did not need to be broken in, I walked a mile and a half to work this morning in them (first time wearing) and they feel looovely.

I love these shoes! They are super cute. I wore them with no-show sock liners this summer with cropped pants and skirts. They were great for work and regular life. I will wear them with tights now that it's cold.
