Fairly expensive shoes lasted 12-18 months before plastic on sides began pealing off; otherwise the shoes in good condition, but unusable because of the plastic.

A month later and my feet still have blisters. My issued boots in basic training were more comfortable and I wore them without socks. They look fine, they are not leather though. Some plasticky material that is better cleaned with windex than shoe polish. I have had four or five of this same brand before and they were polar opposites in both looks, quality, and comfort. I will use them until they are worn out and buy something else. The quality seems to have just gone downhill with each pair that I have bought.

There is not competitive advantage for me to buy from Floresheim web site. I need to pay for the return if it the shoe does not fit. Also, I can purchase Floresheim shoe from other websites and not pay for return.

I typically commute in my dress shoes but don't do excessive walking. The shoes look great although the comfort doesn't match another pair of wingtips that I have from Florsheim.

I am a minister, and I purchased these for my worship apparel. I ordered online, and wish I would not have. One shoe was slightly flawed in the leather at the toe. Also, I have slightly higher arches than normal, though not extremely high, and these shoes are truly NOT a good fit for even slightly higher arches. They are extremely narrow, and have a very low internal profile which causes them to be extremely tight across the top of my foot. Even after just a few hours on Sunday mornings my feet are exhausted from the pressure. There is plenty of room in the toe, thankfully, but just below the laces the shoe is way too tight. I opted NOT to return them because Florsheim makes you pay the return shipping. I plan to try and stretch the shoe and hope they loosen up. I did try the comfort tech wingtip prior to this one, but they only lasted about a year. They were more comfortable, but wore out very quickly. Overall, I will likely begin looking for a new shoe company from which to purchase my dress shoes.

I found this shoe to be extremely uncomfortable. I would spend the extra $50 and get a shoe with more support and genuine leather. These do not polish well.

quality of the shoe has gone down over the years. Old shoe sole was much more substanial. I liked the leather insert on the sole of the shoe on the older model. Leather seems thinner than older models. Price has not gone down but quality appears to have done so.

This is a nice looking shoe; however, it is made small. I usually wear a 9.5 D but these seem much narrower. I have continually tried to break them in but they just will not conform to my feet. Guess the next step is to take them and have them stretched.

Nice looking shoe but leather quality, sewing and construct plan in front of lacing not good. Not all leather?

Disappointed in this product. Even after three weeks the shoe is still uncomfortable. No padding in the heel. Right shoe is beginning to squeak.

Great shoes, very sharp looking. Great for formal nights and to spice up a casual night out. I like the way they are made as well, very durable and high quality.

I ordered two pairs of Lexington shoes at different times. One was cognac color size 12-D and it was too small in length. The width was snug but fine. I thought it might stretch out a little if I wore it but didn't and now I don't wear them. I then ordered this in a black 13-D and the length was fine but they were much too wide. I returned the second pair at my expense and will likely go to the mall to buy them next time.

This is, by far, the squeakiest pair of shoes I've ever owned. People hear my shoes as I walk around the office and I don't like that.

The shoe looks really great and the leather is very strong as many have mentioned. The sole, however, squeaked like crazy for me, and it never went away after a couple of months of wearing. It was rather embarrassing so unfortunately this was a show stopper and I put this shoe on the shelf. The sole also didn't last as long as I thought it would have. I probably could have gotten the squeak fixed at a shoe store, but I felt it wasn't worth the time or the money. I don't know what it is about men's shoes, but the quality has gone down across the board over the past few years. My other pair of Alfani shoes separated from the soles because they were glued and not sewn. Seems like a lot of cheap outsourced manufacturing going on with men's shoes.

The shoe has a beautiful appearance . Unfortunately. The material is to hard and it has a funny fit. Right below the heel around the ankle height the back sticks out. I bought and 11 and I thought it stuck out because the shoes were to big. However. I bought a 10.5 and still the same issue. I am really disappointed the shoes would of been awesome to wear with many outfits with style. ( I don't know how to post pictures)

It's new, so it's shiny and nice. However, very rigid and hard, hands uncomfortable to walk. Also, the shoelaces keep untying multiple times during the day.

I sent these shoes back after I took them out of the box. I did not like the finish look of the shoe and did not like the way they fit.

Purchased Oxford wingtips 10 1/ 2 medium but shoes seemed to be children's shoe. Surprised how small they actually were, have purchased other shoes for more than 10 years from your website, disappointed.

Burgundy one had sewing defects on right shoe and had to return it. Black one was great.

So dissapointed. I remember Florsheim being a handsomely rugged, wide stance, supportive quality leather shoe. I am sorry to say these looked like cheap shiney plastic, were very narrow and hurt around the ankle where it was cutting in. The shoe was not straight but built to the inside like pigeon a toe. The foot bed was lumpy and unsupportive. There was nothing but the smell of leather that I liked about this shoe, but at least it had that. I am returning to try another. Zappo's is so great about that, even though I've hardly ever had to return anything over the many years. Unfortunately this shoe just fails me in everyway. I ordered a 15D

Nice and shiny look, but shoe material is very flimsy and cheap. It will be deshaped and get all wrinkled up after few wears. Looks as if make of cheap plastic.

The shoes look ok but hard to say how long it will last. Sole seems to made out of plastic. The eyelets have no metal rings like previous generations of FS shoes. Sad to see the quality has decreased so much over the years.

I liked them a lot but the size of the shoe is not true. It is the second pair that I have bought and every time I try them for the first time. They are almost an inch larger, I have to change them to a smaller size.
