I have been through three pairs of ECCO Track II Low over the last 10 years and still have all three pairs in various states. Unless I am wearing a suit, this is the only shoe I wear and I am very picky about my footwear. I travel a lot all over the world and this is the best shoe I have found. It's light weight and very comfortable when trekking wherever. I have worn it on every continent (short of Antarctica), in extreme heat and cold, and it never fails to perform. Yes, these are not cheap. But a pair of ECCO Track II Lows will be around long after you have gotten rid of a knockoff.

For me, the greatest shoe ever designed/engineered/manufactured. For comfort and utility, I have never found a better. Neither have I found another shoe that reduces my back pain as much as this one. I can walk and move in it comfortably for longer than any shoe I have ever owned. I have hiked hillsides and glaciers and pounded city streets with them. They are my go-to travel shoe. If Ecco would only make a shoe this versatile and cushioned and supportive and functional that I could also wear with a coat and tie (or least a coat and slacks) in front of an audience! That would be the greatest event in shoes ever.

I have owned 6-7 pairs of these shoes. Best walking shoe out there. Waterproof, maintain a steady temperature for your feet summer or winter. Much better than sneakers and they look great. These shoes are a 10.

I love them. The top leather faded and was beyond repair - but I have had them for so long (10 years?) and rarely looked after them. I wore them constantly with minimal sole wear. I felt sad throwing them out. I'm just shopping around for my second pair.

This is a great shoe. If you have not owned a pair of Ecco shoes you are in for a treat. By far the most comfortable shoes made that I have ever owned. This is my 6th pair.

These shoes are very comfortable and they are of high quality. For me, comfort is the #1 priority when it comes to shoes. My US size is around 6.5 to 7. I was afraid that the size 40 (6 to 6.5) would not fit. It is in fact a very nice fit. I am very happy with this pair of shoes.

Hi, welcome to Zappos. This is the best of the best place to order and receive shoes. Perfect. Easy and dependable and first class quality. My husband is probably on his tenth pair of these shoes. He is diabetic with a wide foot and this is the only shoe he wears. He has a old pair for working and a new pair for night or church and a pair in the box(really new) in waiting. Fantastic.

Nice shoe. Not as comfortable right out of the box like other Ecco shoes but after a few days they felt great. I haven't regretted a pair of Eccos yet.

This is my second pair. My first pair lasted eight years. I am now using them for outside work shoes. I love them. They fit well, and are very comfortable after a short break-in time. They provide great traction in damp or wet areas. They look great for casual and semi dress. They are excellent if traveling.

Excellent shoe...just as the salesman pitched it on the video (which are both helpful and entertaining)!

I have never bought a pair of shoes twice until I purchased this Ecco's Track II. My first pair lasted 8 years ! I suffer from plantar fascia with many of my other shoes requiring an orthotic insert to assist. This shoe from the first time you put it on gives extraordinary comfort, support and weather protection. It can be dressed up or dressed down. You can even send away and have the entire shoe rebuilt as long as the heel upper is not crushed by being lazy and not I lacing the shoe like I did. :( I am half to endorse this product whole heart as you will see no disappointment on the reviews.

Best shoe ever! I wear it right through the Winter here in Chicago (unless the snow is piled very high). Not only is it comfortable, not only is it well made, but when the cold Canadian winds blow down Lake Michigan these shoes keep my feet warm!

I have just purchased what must be my 20th pair of these tough, comfortable Ecco shoes. As a teacher, I need all-day support, and that's what I get. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but with daily wear, I make a pair go one full year. Even then, they don't look worn out, but seem to lose their ability to support my old feet. Any negatives to report? Well, I wish they were just a bit lighter and the soles with their heavy lugs do manage to pick up a lot of debris from the yard. Still, I keep buying them at this price, so you know there must be a lot good about them.

The best non-dressy shoe I've owned, worn for 4 years or more, great on snow, ice, anytime. Gore-Tex lined, soles of iron, starting to thin a little, but still fabulous. I'll order another when the time comes. Worth every penny and cheaper in the long run. Beyond comfortable.

I bought these shoes for my husband who has trouble finding shoes with enough arch support. He loves these shoes, it's his third pair. They wear very well and give him the support he needs. Zappos shipped these shoes very quickly, we received them within three days. What a pleasant surprise!

I had owned a pair of the Ecco boots for a number of years, and absolutely loved them for their comfort, warmth, grip and protection. But they were definitely footwear for the extremes of winter, and a bit too much for anything else, as well as appearing too 'woodsy' for everyday use. I was forced to wear my Ecco casual shoes, which could get beaten up by the weather. The Ecco Track II Low is exactly the same foot, but without the rise of the boot. All the same benefits except not for the deeper hazards. The fit is identical. And the appearance is such that they can be worn for most occasions, although they are still somewhat rugged. As I recall I ordered these from Zappos on a Friday evening and they arrived the Monday, free shipping and free return if I needed it. But they are perfect, so I didn't need it! I have a small foot and normally struggle around the 7-1/2 size. Sometimes it is perfect, but other times it can be slightly too small. The Ecco European size 41 seems ideal for me.

This is the best shoe I have ever owned. I have worn these for 10 years and am on my 5th pair. My foot doctor sent me to get them and he was right. They cushion every step, wear well and look great. I wear them with a sports coat and tie even. These are better padded than other ECCO shoes including the Track IV but a tad heavier. I\'d never buy any other shoe for every day wear inside or outside.

I found these during a search for shoes to take on a month-long trip to Europe where we would be both hiking in the Swiss Alps and going to the Opera in Vienna. They worked very well for both - dressy enough to pass at in semi-formal wear, and rugged enough to use while hiking. They're extremely light and very comfortable - a bit wide for my narrow feet, so they're not super snug, which made me less confident hiking over slippery or steeply pitched rock than my Vasque hiking boots with Vibram soles. But they worked well enough, and given their versatility and light weight, they were a slam dunk for this sort of trip.

Love at first wear. I discovered the Track II about 10 years ago when I reluctantly tried on a pair on the recommendation of a salesman. My reluctance was motivated by the price which, I thought was quite high. Since then, I have become a Track II junkie. On the rare occasion that I wear another shoe, I can't wait to get home to change into my Track II's. They're more comfortable than my slippers! I have 3 pair that I alternate. Just wish ECCO made more styles with THIS same sole & construction because none of their other shoes compare to the TRACK II as far as comfort goes. They feel "worn in" when new & keep getting better as they get older. Love my TRACK II's

This is the 2nd pair I have bought of these shoes. I loved the first ones so much and wore them almost every day for over 2 years that I decided to buy a 2nd pair. I felt there was a slight drop off in the quality since I ahd bought the first pair, but I'm still pretty happy with them. I would give the originals a 5, but since it seems the quality dropped a little bit I'm giving them a 4. Still a great shoe for every day wear and great in winter because they are gore tex.

I owned 2 or 3 pairs of this shoe. Pro: extremely comfortable all day long. Con: the soles (especially the heel area) do not hold up as well as I think they ought to for a product at this price. And there doesn't seem to be way to repair. I had to stop buying what I thought was otherwise a great shoe. For alternatives, look with products with Vibram soles.

I have a 13 medium foot and this shoe is very tight. I suggest only people with BMI of 20 or less order their shoes. The shoe is very stiff in the front putting excessive pressure on the fore foot. Because of the forward location of shoestrings the foot has a tendency to slip out the back and feels very insecure. Maybe secure in the office but outside, doubtful. Not well designed either, easily beat by a 50.00 shoe at Kohl's. Just because you use expensive material a good shoe it not make!

My husband will only wear these shoes. He puts them in rotation - nice work shoes, weekender/casual shoes, and working in the yard shoes. The last pair in rotation gets solemnly buried in the trash can. I don't get it. I mean, he won't wear anything else. He won't even let me buy these for him in another color. So if you're a guy and you want to find your sole-mate (har har har), this may be the shoe for you.

I have had about 8 pairs of these--high ones, low ones, black and brown--and they are by far my most comfortable shoes. I love the amount of padding inside and the softness of the Vibram soles.I wear them almost every day. If they get muddy, I can hose them off and polish them up and they keep on truckin'. I was worried by some comments that said the sizing had gotten smaller, but the new ones seem identical to my earlier models. My size is usually 8.5 E, and although these only come in "medium" they fit my wide foot nicely. They wear much better than tennis or cross-training shoes, which lose their cush and support for me in around 6 months. I don't notice any aging signs on Track II for about 2 years, and even then they are more padded and comfortable than my other shoes (and I don't buy cheap shoes). Great shoes!
