Comfortable walking shoes that dress you up or down. Worth every penny. Great for wide feet eventhough it says medium.

These shoes took me through three weeks in Spain without any problems, in comfort and in style. I had debated whether or not to take two pairs on this vacation, but went with just one pair. I\'m glad I picked this pair. Very happy with ECCO shoes in my feet.

Wonderful shoes, perfect fit and incredibly comfortable. Good price and the added assurance that if I was unahappy in any way Zappos would pay shipping back.

I normally wear size 10.5 US, and 44 EUR worked well for me. I bought the SeaWalkers for walking cobblestones in Rome, as I am as of now living there for six months. I would like to add to this review once the Eccos "run the gauntlet" so to say, but here is what I know for now: Before traveling to Rome, I researched what the best walking shoes and brands were. I found that Eccos were much acclaimed, and having worn Ecco Crosses for two to three years, I decided to buy the SeaWalker Rust Leather. I ordered both the 44 and the 45, and sent the 45 back for free. Zappos is great! The shoes are very good quality leather. The shoes are maroon / red. The soles seem like they will last a very long time. The liner is cork, but very thin, so I am not sure how much support it will give. I am relying on the shoe design for that. I tried adding a thicker insole, but my foot barely fit into the shoe, which would stretch, but I might have considered getting a larger size. The leather still needs to conform to my foot: Yesterday, while walking for a few hours, I had pressure where one of the seams was on the inside of the shoe on the top of my foot, but after a few days, I couldn't even notice it. The shoes are not quite as comfortable as tennis shoes, the upper leather is still quite stiff. But if they are anything like my previous Eccos, I will grow to love them.

These are great shoes. I\'ve been wearing the same model for 10 years, and now my son, who is 14, has decided they are his favorite shoe also. They are even more comfortable than sneakers, give good support, and go with almost anything from a style standpoint.

The last pair of (different model) Ecco shoes I had were terrible; laces kept breaking, and the suede/nubuck became dirty quickly. These are much better, seem more durable, although I've only worn them for a month. Good with jeans and khakis. Fairly light, but not delicate. Comfort is good over the course of a day.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I originally had them in brown and they had such a great feel and where easy to walk in, I got them in black too so I could wear them to work daily. They are pricey but well worth the money.

I bought these shoes for my 86 year old grandpa. I chose them because they look nice; the perfect shoe for a guy who wears one pair of shoes all the time. He says they were the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn right out of the box. I didn't tell him how much they cost (gulp). He says next time he has to get new shoes he wants this brand. I wouldn't be surprised if they lasted him 'till 90.

I have flat feet and worried about how well any shoe that is not a wide size would fit. These fit great - no break in period, comfortable from the get go. This was my first pair of Ecco shoes and definitely will not be my last.

First bought these shoes in a retail outlet years ago. Recommended by a salesperson for my hard-to-fit feet. Little more expensive than I had previously spent on shoes, but gave them a try and I've re-ordered them twice since - - through Zappos, of course - - with the same level of satisfaction. They're extremely comfortable, the soles last forever, and it's easy to have the uppers re-stitched if you want to get another year out of them.

I bought these shoes to serve a 2 year mission for my church in the Dominican Republic. I would say that I used them 6/7 days because they aren\'t waterproof. As a missionary I walked a lot and on bad trails and everything. They held up strong for 2 years and I still use them today and people are shocked that they still are in good condition. I don\'t think any other missionary in my mission lasted 2 years with the same shoes. I saw others use other ecco shoes and they had to throw them away after 1 year.

These shoes worked great for me. Fit was true; a bit tight to start, but broke in quickly. This was important, as I used them two weeks later for a trip to Europe, where I visited several archaeological sites, as well as walked through several cities. Service by Zappos was quick.

Excellent quality shoes. Very comfortable for everyday wear, not much break-in needed. Fits true to size and lots of heels support. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. I highly recommended.

I've always loved Eccos but thought them too expensive. After reading the reviews of this shoe it made sense to spend that little extra to have shoes that not only are great for your feet but that would last for a long time. They are well made and extremely comfortable. So comfortable, in fact, that I bought another pair.

Pleased a "hard-to-please" My husband is like the "Princess and the Pea" when it comes to shoes. In the 26 years we have been married the only footwear that he found truly comfortable were running shoes, memory-foam slippers and an old pair of Ecco SeaWalker shoes that I bought for him at least ten years ago. After years of constant wear the Ecco shoes were very tired looking and chunks of the sole were missing. The store I bought them from no longer carried Ecco, so I turned to Zappos. He loves his new pair - they are even better looking than his first ones and much lighter. He is totally satisfied with the product and I am totally satisfied with another Zappos shopping experience. I highly recommend these Ecco SeaWalker shoes for men with very sensitive and hard to fit feet and Zappos for busy people looking for an easy way to shop for quality shoes and excellent service.

3rd time - this is my husbands third time to purchase these shoes in a 5 year period. He is very hard on shoes and stands all day in them. these wear great, hold up remarkably well and we believe give us our moneys worth. He is still wearing pair one and two to wash the boats and cut grass in. Zappos is the best company to buy this shoe from because stores don't care if they quit providing the color/style desired and if they don't have the size you're just out of luck.

5 star comfort - I lived in Denmark for several years and became a real fan of Ecco shoes! This model was seemed to be very close to one I had purchased previously, but with a different name. This shoe fit perfect on my narrow foot and was comfortable from the first step.

Great looking shoe, I would not say they runs big, as I ordered up a 1/2 size and they were coming off my feet, which is a bummer as these are really cute. Great look for suits or to dress up slacks/jeans.

Sea Walkers are a great shoe! These are my four pair of Sea Walkers over 3 years. My first pair, a different type of Ecco's, fell apart in the first month. I returned them & replaced them with Sea Walkers. I liked them so much I bought a second pair to rotate wearings. Those first 2 pair lasted from 2005 until Dec of 08. Very comfortable, look great, well worth the money!! And Zappos is a great place to shop.

These shoes look great with a gray suit/pants. They are definitely not exciting--but good for a job interview or going out. There are many possibilities for a matching purse. I am a new fan of Annie shoes!! I wouldn't do any hiking or shopping in them--they are for a good LOOK.

Incredible - I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who has to be on their feet all day long. My husband works in a gas refinery and does a lot of walking. He wears these shoes all day and never has had a problem of any kind. In fact, he has an addition pair in his closet as a backup when his finally wear out. Excellent shoe for comfort as well as style.

Best shoe for men who stand or walk a lot - My husband is diabetic and he stands and walks a lot. These are the only shoes we have found for his feet that work for him.

Best shoes around - This is my second pair of SeaWalkers (although I don't understand why they named them that!) and my fifth pair of Eccos. At the rate I'm going I can't imagine purchasing any other brand. I'm that satisfied with them. Good looks, good fit and very durable. They are a bit more expensive than some brands... but very well worth it. And the next pair I get will certainly be purchased from Zappos. My third pair of Eccos I bought from a local specialty store, thinking that I might get better advice from an expert, but after having the salesman just ask me my size (I had to request to get measured, and even then had to do it myself) and then throwing me the shoes to try on, I decided that I was wasting my time. Paid the same price as Zappos AND had to pay the tax! No more! Zappos ships free, and usually overnight (surprisingly fast!). I'm sold! Zappos and Ecco, a winning combination!
