Just today I told my husband that I needed to buy new slippers. Now he's the kind of guy that can't stand going shopping all over creation and just gets what he needs and he's out of there! I'm the kind of person that needs to try things on and sometimes I take my time. With two sons (7 yrs. old & 15 mon. old), they can drive me nuts when we go shopping, so I decided to go online and see what's out there. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Sharon on Zappos and all the awesome reviews of all the other wonderful ladies (and men) who I definitely share the same feelings with! I owned a pair when I was 9, now I'm 32 and I have to admit that I've always loved the "classic look" and comfort!! It's funny - I just saw someone wearing a pair just the other day and it brought back memories! Zappos...please make us "Loyal Sharon Lovers" proud and forever carry her....Aloha & Mahalo!!!

Awesome! I keep going to Bass and buying these shoes. I even had them in blue/pink/white straps (one shoe) can't find that one anymore but I just bought a pair in white. Can't wait to break them in this spring!

Oh my goodness - they are still around! I've been looking for these sandals for so long and here they are on your web site. Thank you and don't ever stop carrying them. I would tell you how long I've worn them, but at 64, I've forgotten - a really long time and so comfortable. Again, thanks for the comfort.

Sharon, the sandal love of my life! I've been wearing these shoes for more summers than I can remember, and absolutely love them! They're so comfortable, and with such a classic look to them. I love Sharon! I never knew the name of my all-time favorite sandals but now I know-Sharon. I've been wearing a pair for 10-plus years and the straps finally broke last summer. I have been wearing these shoes for over 20 years now. I love these shoes and would be lost without them. My current pair is over ten years old and my last pair was also over ten years old. The only reason I replaced my first pair was because our new dog at the time chewed them up. I have been looking to replace my current pair but could not find them in any stores. I am so glad to have found them on the net. Please, don't ever stop making this shoe.

Don't Give up on "Sharon" I've been wearing this sandal every summer for as long as I can remember. At least since I was a teenager and I'm now 49 years old. I went shopping for them yesterday 60 miles from home. My husband and I are taking a trip next week and I very much wanted a new pair to take with me. I went to every store in a very large mall with no luck. I was told by every shoe department that this shoe is no longer available. I'm ashamed to say that toward the end of the day I was quite hostile toward more than one clerk. I am THRILLED to find them here. I can't imagine being without a pair, I've worn them for so many summers. THANK YOU and please DON'T GIVE UP SHARON! I don't know what me and the rest of the old timers would do. Again, thank you.

Wonderfully comfortable. Zappos, you've made my day. I have been looking long and hard for Sharon. I gave up last summer when I was told they were no longer made. I've been wearing them for 30 plus years and my last ones are 15 years old and now I can have all the comfort in the world thanks again the BEST SANDAL EVER.

Don't yet own a pair? What are you waiting for?! Mine are relatively new (3 years). Prior to these, I didn't wear sandals and I lived in athletic shoes. But while I normally get aching feet after about 6 hours in air soles, I can pretty much wear Bass sandals from sunup to sundown. (By the way, the same applies to a pair of Bass flats I bought in the early '90s!)

Comfort and durability equals Sharon. I have been buying this shoe for years. Would not be without them. Comfortable, durable and the price is right!

Thank goodness for the Internet! I, like so many others, SEARCHED and SEARCHED the stores to replace my old Bass sandals. They are at least 12 years old, and I'd even had them brought to the shoe shop to repair when one of my dogs chewed it! I FINALLY found them on the Internet! Please don't ever stop making these! The most comfortable sandle around!

Lost to old age! :) This will sound like it's impossible, but it's not! I got a pair of these when I was 13 years old. I have worn them yearly and they just came apart this year. Now, for my age... I'm 34 years old! They still are in good shape. The glue on the sole to the leather finally gave way and the leather straps have nothing to hold them on any more. This was a very sad day! I have already begun looking for another pair! These are the BEST (and only) pair of sandals I have ever owned!

I was very upset when the girl at the Bass Outlet store in Mesa, AZ told me these weren't made anymore. I have worn them for at least 16 years and they are my absolute favorite! I'm glad you have them; I thought I was going to have to wear my 2 worn out pairs until they fell completely apart.

Best shoe my wife has ever worn. My wife says that this is the best shoe she has ever worn and being the man that I am I will travel all over just to get her a pair. I've had these for about 7 years I think. They are wearing out, but I will probably buy another pair. Comfortable, casual, but not beach shoes.

I live in these things! I've been wearing these thong sandals for too many years to count. The last time I bought them about a year ago was through a catalog and I bought 3 pairs (white, cinnamon and tan... cinnamon is my favorite). I'm glad to see that they are now available on the Net. I live in these shoes. Since I live in Ft. Lauderdale they are the shoes I wear 95% of the time. They're great for the beach, the pool, for running errands, for doing housework... you name it. They don't skid and they last a long, long time. They go with everything, from shorts, to bathing suits, to short and long skirts. It's a very good-looking quality shoe. In the summer when we get our almost-daily downpours I can get them wet and they dry in a short while without any discoloration (the water does not affect the craftsmanship or fit).

I've owned a pair of these for more than 15 years. I am so glad to have found that I can still buy them! The MOST comfortable sandal I have ever worn in my life! No blisters, no "flat tires", not bad at all! Love 'em!

I love this shoe. It's the most comfortable sandal. My favorite is the cinnamon color.

This is the only sandle I wear. I have worn this style and brand of sandle for so long, I cannot remember how long I have been wearing them. I found out several years ago that Bass was discontinuning this style and I went to every store I could to buy up as many pairs in my size as I could find. Living in Central Florida, I can wear them year around. I am so glad they have been re-introduced. The thong keeps my foot from slipping out. Glad to have them back on the market.

8 years and still the best. I have many pairs of sandals, but the pair I wear the most is this sandal which, after 8 years, is finally wearing out. So I am here to buy another pair. They always look good, and I have never found a more comfortable sandal. I love my Bass sandals, and you will love yours too if you purchase this sandal.

It always comes down to quality. The only reason I've owned so many pairs of these sandles is that I'm hard on shoes -- and the warm weather in Arizona means I wear these all the time. Besides being classic in appearance, they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever slipped on my feet! When I heard a rumor that Bass would no longer exist, I began tracking down stores where I'd bought these before; luckily, I was directed to Zappos.com from a Netscape search and I've ordered two more pairs. Just this week alone, I've been asked twice what kind of shoes I was wearing and where they might be purchased! I've seen knock-offs, complete with a little brass tag on the strap, but nothing comes close to these Bass sandles. I hope I never have to do without a source for them.

Perfect summer shoe. I bought my first pair about 15 years ago. Have been wearing my present pair for 8 years. They are so easy to slip on in a hurry, and you can wear them with any summer outfit. They wear so well considering the fact that I wear them almost every day in warm weather. The only reason I will be ordering a new pair is because after 8 years the tread on the bottom is wearing thin and I don't want to slip on something slippery.

The best sandal around. I've been wearing this brand and style of sandal for almost 20 years. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear them constantly during the summer. I find my feet don't slip forward if my feet sweat because of the heat they dry quickly. They accomodate my feet swelling. I would say you won't be sorry if you purchase this pair of Bass sandals.
