I bought my moosehide classic moccasins in December of 2006. Well, it's 2012 and I'm wearing them right now. I'm only on Zappos because I want another pair, but in black. These babies have survived water, snow, salt, mud, garlic sauce, and 2 puppies. These moccasins are quite possibly the most durable shoe I have ever owned. There are a few drawbacks, however. The leather that the bottom of your foot touches will stain your feet, socks, etc. Furthermore, there is no arch. I solved both of these problems by putting in a set of superfeet insoles. Buy these moccasins, they will last forever.

Amazingly comfortable moccasin. These are unlined, which makes them comfortable in summer, too. Moosehide is extremely durable. The sole on my first pair has finally split after nearly ten years of daily wear, but the uppers are still intact. Padded sole makes them more comfortable than going barefoot in the house. Best casual shoe/slipper I've owned.

You won\'t believe how soft and comfortable the liners of these slippers are! They are not really furry, so you can wear these in summer, but they are so silky!

I\'ve ordered Minnetonka shoes before and have always been pleased with the product. This shoe is no exception. The workmanship is great and it was comfortable right out of the box. As always, Zappos service and shipping was amazing.

I love moccasins and have owned several different brands and styles over the past 25 years. These moosehide moccasins from Minnetonka are without a doubt the most comfortable and versatile pair I have ever owned!Forget breaking them in. These moccasins are comfortable right out of the box. The rubber sole provides great support, and you can walk across any flooring surface (including a rainy driveway) without fear of slipping or sliding. No need to look any further. This is the best moccasins for the money.

The Minnetonka Moosehide Classics look and wear great. My foot is a 12-B and it's impossible to find narrow slippers but these work well, especially since they're moccasins with a lace I can tighten. And of course Zappo's quick delivery and service is outstanding.

The Minnetonka Moosehide Classic is the best pair of slippers I have ever owned. The leather is very soft, but the construction is sturdy enough so that I feel no hesitation in wearing these outside. The size for me was a little small so I had to exchange for the next larger size. The exchange process was painless with Zappos in control.

With cold weather on its way, my husband was looking for a comfortable pair of warm slippers that he could also wear outside to bring in the newspaper in the morning (whether from sidewalk or the bushes). We couldn’t find what he had in mind, but these looked as if they might be a suitable compromise. When they arrived, he thought the shoes a little wide until he adjusted the laces and ties. He was able to adjust them perfectly to his feet. They are now his shoe of choice for around the house, as well as out and about town. They are competing with his favorite Pumas for casual wear. And yes, he also wears these outside for light yard work (those activities that do not require a sturdier shoe or boot).

My husband loves the Moosehide Minnetonka shoes I purchased for him! He wears them all the time. The last pair of shoes I purchased for him were Sperry Topsiders. They were so hard and uncomfortable that they gave him blisters all over his feet. He ended up throwing them in the dumpster on our vacation in Key West! Feet are content with Minnetonka\'s. Thank you.

I bought these slippers for my husband's birthday and he loves them. They are just what he wanted. The first pair were too small so I called customer service and could not believe how wonderful they were and service that went way beyond most companies. I will recommend them to anyone

I am a big fan of Minnetonka moccasins. I go out of my way to purchase them for indoor and outdoor use. The Moosehide are exceptionally comfortable and long lasting. As well as my loyalty to Minnetonka, I cannot say enough good things about Zappos and their service and inventory. The web experience is great.

Received these shoes yesterday. The shoes arrived one day after ordering them. Zappos has the best service that I know about. Not all shoes fit that great, but zappos.com continues to provide the best service day after day.These slippers are very soft; I mean really soft. I wear a size 8 mens and the fit was perfect. I did not need a wide and I did not need extra length. Of course only time will tell if these last a while but if you want a nice soft shoe to wear around the house, I recommend these shoes.

The Leather is extremely soft and the shoes are very comfortable as soon as you first put them on. I'm diabetic so should always have my feet protected and these shoes are the right shoe for around the house. I always have them on when I'm at home.

A Fine Slipper!
The size is accurate, the hide is very soft and supple, and the overall comfort is excellent. I cannot wear shearling-it is too warm for my feet-so I chose these hoping that the moose hide would be a good "second best" to shearling. It is so soft that I'm glad I picked moose hide instead!!

Actually, more of a moc than a shoe. The sole is more like a slipper than a shoe. The Moosehide is extremely soft and supple and feels great on the foot.
