Comfortable, but not miraculous - I'm a 51-year-old woman with flat feet and I was looking for a very supportive, comfortable sandal to wear traipsing around Italy in the summer. I've actually just returned from Italy, where I spent lots of time on my feet, standing in line, walking around old ruins and on rough pavement, etc. The verdict is--these sandals are comfortable for the first couple of hours, but after that you definitely feel like there's not enough support and padding. If you are just buying them to wear puttering around the house or to the mall for an hour or two, they would probably be plenty comfortable. But if you are going to be on your feet all day, you'll still end up with tired, aching feet at the end of the day (at least if you have flat feet like I do). The straps are pretty comfortable and can be easily adjusted, and I never once got a blister from them in Italy, so that's a point in their favor. But for the price, I was hoping for a more cushy shoe.

Because of the cost I viewed this shoe a few months before deciding to purchase. These shoes are so comfortable and I don't need to use my own orthotics because of the well constructed arch support built into this shoe. I have a tough time finding a shoe that gives the support I need. I will purchase these shoes again in another color.

If you have any foot problems, Finn Comfort is the shoe brand that may make walking possible again. (I sound like a shoe salesman, don't I?) My sandal, 82509 is the only shoe/shoe style I can wear; I wear them summer and winter. The best part of the Finn Comfort shoe is that the insole is totally replaceable and the shoe and insert can be rebuilt by a California firm. Love 'em.

My feet are very picky about comfort. Some shoes I have tried start out fine but after a few hours their weaknesses become apparent and they are then allocated to the back of the closet. Not with these. I was leery of their cost and the risks involved. Needless-to-say, they were worth every penny. With the well cushioned sole and great arch support, I can wear them all day without the slightest complaint. The adjustable straps work great for my narrow feet and I won't hesitate to get me another pair before too long.

Zappos is the fastest and the most reliable of all sites I've ever tried. Finn's has changed their shoe size and i had to go down a size. Zappos handled it immediately and even sent me the right size before receiving the return. I am definitely a huge fan.

Finn Shoes are tops in quality and comfort. I wear orthopedic insoles for overpronation and have plantar fasciitis. When I wear Finn Shoes I eliminate those insoles since the arch support is so great. I have yet to find another branch of such high quality. Finn, keep up the good work. (How 'bout more 'dressy' shoes with your wonderful low heels?)

First pair of Finn shoes - Great Finn sandals. Tried several other styles, but no other Finns fit as well as theses did. Love them and dressy looking, too!

Disappointed - I was real happy to receive my first pair of Finns, but every time I put them on and walk for a few minutes, my feet hurt so bad that I end up taking them off and putting on another pair of shoes.

1989 first time I slipped my feet into this exact sandal while on vacation in Nova Scotia. I have had 3 pairs and 2 times replaced inner soles only! Even my podiatrist raved for their structure and ease. I need a new pair!

This is my fourth pair of Finn Comfort sandals. I love them! I have severe neuropathy in my feet, and they are the only shoes that I can wear comfortably.

I love these shoes. I consider that they run true to size. Having had a devastating ankle injury, I have to wear very flat supportive shoes and these fit the bill. It is also important that they have so many straps to adjust the fit. Between these and my NAOTs, I can go the full day in comfort and not have to wear tennis shoes.

Love them! I have a terrible time finding shoes that fit and are comfortable and that don't hurt my back. These were great out of the box. The first time I wore them, I didn't want to take them off. I have very narrow feet and typically wear custom orthotics. The velcro on these fit my narrow feet and the support is great without my orthotics. No back pain - hurray!

Best shoe on the market - Best shoe for lots of walking. And the insole can be changed after wearing for a year or so and then they feel like new shoes again... great feature.

Love these shoes - I found these shoes a couple of years ago. They are the only shoes I can wear with comfort. I now have a good looking shoe to wear to work. Zappos sent them to me pronto. Great service. BKL

Zappos is an excellent company to do business with! As for my adorable Portland 7WW Softspots, I will need to return them and I am not happy about that. PROBLEM: If the straps had come out from under the footbed instead of being sewn down to the footbed, then all would be well in my world. That little bit of distance makes these adorable shoes not a WW for me. Reddish marks are appearing on the sides of my feet and the irritation hurts. Obviously, this way of sewing straps to the shoe is something I need to be aware of when I check out the shoe photos.

Sandal I can't live without nowadays! After years of running and jumping I have found that my ankle is a mess and my last bike wreck really made foot pain a part of my life. I went looking for shoes and found that Finn Comfort was the BEST! I have my old ones on right now and have saved my Zappos order for 'my dress up' shoes. They don't look so orthopedic that you cringe and with their comfort you feel like you can keep moving in these while with others it is just too painful. Thanks to Zappos for delivering the new ones so fast.

Great sandal - I have tried all the top line sandals and these are the best. They even surpass my SAS sandals and that's hard to do. Arch support superb, no blistering, can wear all day! I bought my first pair at a specialty store and was glad ZAPPOS stocks them! They fit me 1 size shorter than normal and the fit is perfect. ZAPPOS is also the best online store for purchase, return, and selection!

Very comfortable - This is my second pair of this shoe. I also have it in tan. I have problems finding a shoe that does not hurt my feet, especially walking any distance. I would highly recommend this shoe for comfort and style.

Great for recovered plantar fasciitis patients - Am on my third pair in 10 years. Very adjustable to a narrow foot. Wonderfully comfortable.

Finn comfort Rocks!!! I Love Finn Comfort. I have 2 pair of Jerseys, and want the wine and possibly the white. first time ordering the Stilt, and I think they are great. Figured the heel is a tad lower, and would be good to walk in. Very comfortable. I doubt if I will buy any other shoe besides Finn, as they raise the standard. Try them! You and your feet deserve the best. And Zappos is the BEST!!!

This shoe has a very comfortable padded insole. It is a wide B, but has 3 adjustable velcro straps across the top of the foot which allows you some control. It is beautifully stitched and is leather lined. It should be a long lasting investment. The length is true to size. It is a very comfortable shoe except it has a pronounced arch support, which was too much for me.

I didn’t find these comfortable at all, and I thought they were pretty ugly. The leather seemed stiff and like it would rub on the edges. They might be ok once they’re broken in, but I’m returning them. I got the Clarks Un.Hull and they are much cuter, more comfy, with softer leather! Also they run big. They do seem like they have very good arch support.

This is my second pair of Finn Confort and the same style. I wore the first pair for several years until they couldnt be polished any more and just re-ordered the same style. These are so comfortable and sturdy. If/when they wear out, I’ll hope I can get a third pair

This pair of Finn Comfort sandals, replace a pair that I have been wearing during the summer for at least seven or eight years. They are a basic black sandal that can go with anything. They are especially wonderful if you need support for are your arches.
