This shoe is made using 2 different leathers! I found that out by purchasing the caramel color first and it was perfect. I then purchased the black and it was extremely tight. The store manager at the time told me it was a different leather. He ordered the gray color because he said made with same leather as the caramel and it was perfect. People should know this!!! It makes a huge difference in the fit. I read a review from someone who sent it back because too tight and felt narrow. I’m betting it’s the black! Hope this helps because I adore these she’s and will replace caramel soon since I wear it everyday and want a nice pair for good occasions

I have PTTD, Plantars Fasciitis, Bone Spurs, arthritis -- you name it in my feet. I wanted something that I could wear with capris, jeans and these are perfect. They are super comfortable and I can do more then I have ever done. I am a true size 9 normal width and my heal is right at the edge so I wish they were slightly longer but I will get used to it. The back curves up a tiny bit and my heels can feel it - which is weird. But overall great purchase. I usually don't spend this much on shoes but I continue to buy shoes that are not comfortable and they sit in the closet. Over the long run, it will even out.

This style is similar to the "Rome", only on a flat, more stable platform. If it helps anyone, I normally wear a 6 1/2-7M. This normally translates into a 37 in sandals. Well, in this style, a 37 seems to be a true size 6. My foot is in between sizes, which seems to happen a lot lately with Naot. Sad.

I wanted to love these sandals. When I first put them on they felt wonderful then I began to walk and the story changed. The right shoe had a knotted thread that could be felt when you took a step also the removable insole shifted when you walked and both the knot and the inner edge of the shoe rubbed uncomfortably. I ordered a second pair and the same thing happened, way too uncomfortable to wear. It appears the insole was cut too narrowly, I don't know what was going on with the knotted thread. These defects are not expected in a sandalthis expensive or in a brand such as Naot.

I am a dedicated fan of Naot shoes. I own many pairs and they are always my go-to for comfort and great support. But these sandals didn't cut it for me. I liked the overall look of the shoes and they seem like they would work well for summer, the kind of shoes you can quickly slip on with a skirt or sundress. But they are too tight across the top of my foot and they cut in an unflattering way near my ankle. I'm sure the top would stretch a bit and solve the tightness issue, but the cut isn't going to change. Sadly, I am sending them back. For someone with a more slender foot, though, I think these might work well.
