The shoes were comfortable and fit well. Unfortunately, after about month of wearing them, the rubber sole started to peel off the toe part of the left shoe. Contacted customer service and they exchanged them. Unfortunately, after about a month of use, the second pair started to suffer from the exact same problem. It's too bad because I like Florsheim's in general, but there must be something wrong with this particular shoe.

Wow, this shoe feels like a slipper, it is so comfortable. I tried on about 8 different oxfords from 8 different brands (all here on Zappos), and this Florsheim was by far the most comfortable out of the box. It doesn't *feel* like a dress shoe at all, more like a comfy sneaker. And it walks smooth, not a hard clunk like with other brands. I personally don't care for hard soles, even though it is popular on expensive shoes. These look expensive, and feel like I can stand in them all day. The leather is soft and supple, as is the lining. It reminds me of wearing Clarks Un.structured, which are almost twice the price.

Very pleased with how comfortable they were. I usually wear Slim shoes and it is hard to find shoes even in a Narrow size, but these fit well. If someone looked closely enough, they would see that these are a more casual dress shoe because it is slightly padded around the ankle compared to a traditional men's dress shoe. However, no one could tell the difference as I wore them walking down the aisle in my son's wedding.

Feels like a comfy house shoe, but looks super professional. Had to purchase a half size smaller, due to them running a bit large. Cognac looks fantastic - watch the eyes of people you walk by at work, and you'll see half of them glancing down at your shoes. Even better is the comfort - they feel like a house shoe.
