These were perfect right out of the box, which seldom happens. I wear Clarks often, and I'm pretty confident about my size (12W), but I'm never certain if the instep will accommodate me. It did. The first day I received these, I walked about 1/4 mile in them and climbed 4 flights of steps without even noticing I was wearing new shoes.
