[Employers] What is QuickShield?
- A:
QuickShield is Zappos at Work’s self service safety footwear program. QuickShield allows you to purchase subsidy codes for your employees that can only be used for the specified dollar amount and safety standards you select. This means that your subsidies can only be used to purchase appropriate safety footwear. For more information on QuickShield, please visit this link.

[Employers] Can my employees purchase anything with their subsidy?
- A:
No, employees will only be able to purchase footwear within the footwear program you have selected. Your company subsidy codes will not work on products outside of your chosen safety footwear assortment.

- A:
We have six footwear programs available:
- All Top Rated Safety Footwear
- Composite Toe Footwear
- Steel Toe Footwear
- EH Composite Footwear
- Slip-Resistant Footwear
- Athletic Safety
After selecting one of these, employees will have a wide variety of brands, colors, and styles to choose from.

[Employers] What if I need more than one program?
- A:
We recommend that you purchase your subsidies for each program in batches. As an example, you can create an order for 10 non-slip subsidies, and then place another order for 10 composite toe subsidies. This enables you to keep all of your employees safe, regardless of the hazards they face.

- A:
You can purchase subsidies in the following options: $75, $100, $125, $150, or $200.

- A:
After you choose your footwear program, select your subsidy count and dollar amount. You can then pay by credit card or bank account.

- A:
After purchasing your codes, they will be become available to you in your account. You can easily send out these codes to your employees, along with their provided shopping link. This shopping link takes them to your selected assortment.

Yes, you can track subsidies used in your account’s dashboard. This enables you to manage and track your employee’s compliance in one location.

- A:
You are charged upfront for subsidies. Feel free to purchase them in batches - QuickShield is easy and you can continue to purchase additional subsidies as needed.

- A:
- To redeem your safety subsidy, register using your code during enrollment at the link that your employer has provided you.
- After creating or linking a Zappos account, you’ll be shown approved safety gear to shop from.
- There is no need to enter codes during checkout. Your subsidy will be automatically reflected in the order amount after address and payment information is selected.

Your subsidy will only apply to items that are specifically in the link provided by your employer.

[Employees] I need to return or exchange an order that used my subsidy. What do I do?
- A:
You can create a pre-paid return label using this link and signing into your Zappos.com account. Locate the item you’re looking to return from your order history, and then click “RETURN ITEM” and follow the steps in selecting how you’d like to receive your return label. Items being returned must be unworn and in the original packaging. Additional details on our return policy can be found here. [Employees] Why is my subsidy not applying at checkout?
- A:
Please ensure that the item you have selected is listed in your Zappos at Work portal using the portal link and subsidy code that your employer provided.

[Employees] When will my subsidy be reissued?
- A:
Once your return is generated, your subsidy credit will be automatically reissued to your account. You will receive a refund confirmation on the return page once the return is created, as well as an email confirmation to the email address on your Zappos account. While this process should be immediate, please allow up to 2 hours for the subsidy credit and email confirmation.

- A:
Feel free to proceed to your employee portal to select a new item. Please visit the URL that was provided by your employer for the Zappos at Work program. Once your approved item is in your shopping cart, you will see your subsidy automatically apply.
