Vagabond Shoemakers

This is a beautifully crafted and designed fisherman's sandal. Usually they are too bulky, but the slender toe box on the Wioletta really provides elegance and feminine grace. I call these my "Great Gatsby Sandals" as they have a vintage "Daisy Buchanan/Summer Party on the Lawn" 1920's vibe to them. I always find something I love with Vagabond Shoemakers. Perfect with a shirt-dress or tailored linens. Leather is soft and pliable. Entirety is very comfortable. Perfect summer shoe!

Very uncomfortable around the ankles and I have normal to slim ankles

Really strangely fitting shoe. Toe box is narrow, even though the pointed toe is meant to extend past your toes; but the shoe is also too wide; and on my foot the buckle was either too tight or too loose, not in between. Length is true to size if you know your European size. Cool looking shoe, if you can get it to fit you!

Gorgeous! Very pleased. Unique style and color. Toes comfortable for pointy shoe. One negative is having to do the top two buckles because I could not slip on.

I loved the look and style of this shoe. The length was good, but the heel slipped when walking and unfortunately I couldn’t live with that so back they went.

I am normally a size 7 but this was loose on my feet even with adjusting to the smallest strap size. Didn’t want to size down bc it feels like it might be too small then. Otherwise this is a beautiful shoe.

The shoes are extremely painful I have deep cuts in the back of my foot just from trying to break them in at home. Wasn't able to put them on again, because wounds were so painful.

I agree with the other review that these shoes are adorable and could be so fun to wear, but they are very heavy. I normally wear between a 9 or a 10. I ordered a 10 and they need to still be a 1/2 size bigger. I also do better with a narrower fit and in that way they seem good. If my for want crammed I'd try wearing them around the house for an hour or so to see if the weight of them would be a deal breaker because I love the style. Sadle I will have to seems them back.

Love the look and comfort of these sandals. Can’t wait to wear this spring and summer. Very nice, leather sandal by vagabond.

These are the most difficult shoes to get on that I’ve ever experienced in my life. However, once they are on they are pretty comfortable, they look great, and taking them off is no problem. Normally I would return, but these shoes are exactly the look I was going for and I haven’t found anything I like as much so I’m going to keep them and hope that putting them on gets easier as they break in.

This boot is exactly what you see and yes they are very elongated… so if not your thing you won’t appreciate. I would say they are a little on the narrow side because I have a narrow foot and they are perfect I wear a size 8 in most shoes and they fit perfectly. They have rubber sole and a rubber tip on heel which makes them great. It looks like sizes are limited so for the price act now. Oh and it’s a rough leather not smooth like a rough nubuck

Love these! Wanted something a little trendy but not too much so. These fit the bill. Wore them new from the box and walked for miles during a 2 week trip to Norway. No breaking-in required. So comfortable and cute!

Great quality boot but was sent the wrong size. Ordered a 37 and was sent a 36

I am always looking for boots for small calves. While these are perfect around my calves, they have an odd "pucker" around the ankle... didn't look good at all.

The boots are so nice, however, way too narrow. Very uncomfortable

Though I love them, I do have a few comments. I wore them Monday for the first time; while they fit my calves tightly they felt fine. Later the leg leather gathered around my ankles and I felt the zippers. They caused 'bondage' type bruising and indentations that are still evident on one ankle today - Friday. This is the first time a pair of boots hurt more after I took them off. Hey, I'm OK and I will wear them again...Still in love!

Love the look of this sandal and square toe. I tried out quite a few. Thankful for Zappos easy returns until you find just what you want.

Wanted to love these, but unfortunately they just were too uncomfortable- and I usually am willing to suffer quite a lot for a look.

The European size 39 is commonly made for sizes 8 1/2-9. These boots are definitely an 8 1/2. I wear a 9, so I had to return them.

These shoes were very cute on but so heavy. After wearing them for a few hours my feet felt very fatigued. I tried to wear them several times but they were also heavy and uncomfortable.

These are beautiful and well made with gorgeous leather. Unfortunately I returned them, due to my high arch the style just did not work. Stylish = yes, comfort/fit =no.

Gorgeous boot! Incredibly comfortable - I'm a solid 7B, that's what I purchased and they fit like a glove. I don't usually wear a heel of any kind, but this heel feels very stable and the bottoms of these boots are non-slip. I was looking for a black short boot but wanted something unique and these fill the bill. Iwas drawn in by the black crinkled patent leather finish, which is very subtle and not over the top at all. I also love point toes and front seams - beautiful detail and the toe box is very comfortable, even with bunions.
