The toe box area was exceptional, as with other Topo shoes I have owned. They are too narrow in the mid-foot for me, however. I ordered an extra wide, which offered even more toe spread room, but still too narrow in the mid foot unfortunately. Topos are great shoes, just not for my feet. I wish they would make versions with a wider mid platform.

No sturdy shoes for walking. Lace gets loose all the time Quality should be better

(What's this?)The Traverse is a great hiking shoe. I appreciate the relatively low heel-toe drop, wide toebox and midfoot stability. The shoes performed well in some recent hikes up rocky terrain in the Adirondacks. (Thank you, rockplates.) The Traverses are probably overkill for my daily walks, which are mostly on pavement. For those, I prefer the Topo MT-4, which is sadly no longer produced.

The toe box is very squared off. My second toes are longer than my big toe and jam up into the squared off toe box of this shoe. I am normally a 8.5US mens size, but I suspect I needed a 9.0US for this particular shoe.

(What's this?)I ordered my usual size and they fit perfect. These are hands down the best slipper / houses shoe I have ever purchased. I have been searching for a few years and have tried every recommended shoe. I just happened to come across these and see the great reviews. I am close to 50 with very achy feet including planter fasciitis... so if you have feet problems give these a try.

(What's this?)"#sweepstakes" Love the wide toe box, great grip on all types of terrain, and comfort right out of the box. Just wore these for daily hikes on a two week west coast road trip. They held up to some abuse, and we're always comfortable.

(What's this?)I just did the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim in this shoe. It was the perfect footwear for the challenge. Lightweight, comfortable, the perfect amount of grip. I highly recommend this shoe!

(What's this?)Topos are the most comfortable sneaker for me. The wide toe box and the fitted heel serve me well. My husband is also wearing Topos now, and cannot go back to his previous sneaker. #sweepstakes

(What's this?)If you have high arches like me, do NOT get these slippers. They were perfect in every way, but the top of my feet were killing me- and my feet felt like they were falling asleep which means they were pressing on the nerves on top of my feet. Such a shame, really wanted these to fit.

(What's this?)Very comfortable and the inside makes my feet feel good! Needed one full size bigger--a 10 instead of a 9.

These are my everyday shoes and they are super comfy I love the wide toe box. However the reason I gave 5 stars is I recently wore these to Disney World. After days of walking 20k steps my feet felt great. I have plantar fasciitis and try to baby my feet and knock on wood my feet haven't bothered me since wearing these. I even convinced my friend to give them a shot she has high arches and loves her pair.

(What's this?)Great shoes but not for me. Despite Topo being a minimalist brand these shoes do have moderate arch support. Unfortunately, the location of arch support bump just doesn't align with my foot and causes discomfort whenever I am wearing them. Aside from that they fit well and are very comfy.

These FL5 are super comfortable and suportive. My new favorite. I did order 1/2 smaller than usual size and they fit perfect.

(What's this?)Let me start by saying I LOVED THE Specter 1. I had bought at least 5 pairs over the years. But whatever they did to "enhance" the new model completely changed the ride of the shoe and caused me horrible knee pain. And now I've switched brands. :(

(What's this?)I have owned many pairs of Topos over the years as an avid runner. Recently started hiking due to some lingering running injuries. Purchased a pair of Trailventure 2 boots as my first pair of true hiking boots. Couldn't be more stoked. First hike out of box, 15 miles. Super comfy, no issues. Second hike 26 miles, 7k vert, no issues. Great traction on all surfaces, plenty of ankle support and kept feet dry despite many miles of snow drifts. Highly recommend.

(What's this?)I have 3 pair of Topo athletic shoes. This new ST-5, i bought them specifically to just walk around my house or for recovering after a run or hike. I love them ! My other pairs are; one specifically for running and another pair for hiking. I love of them all. I like the fact that they wide and my toes are not squeezed, i get the support that i am looking for while I am walking , running or hiking. I highly recommend Topo athletic shoes.

(What's this?)After 2.5 years of plantar fasciitis, Baxter neuropathy, cortisone injections and a recent fasciotomy I have ditched the Hokas and Brooks as well as custom orthotics for this shoe. I can wear these all day long with no orthotics and have no pain in my feet. I have a very high arch but it feels supported. Just purchased a 2nd pair and hope they are available for a long time. Would love in a Navy blue!

(What's this?)These boots are almost perfect. Comfortable out of the box, the roomy toe box is fantastic. The heel is a tad wide for me, putting in my orthotics helped but there's still a lot of movement. They are lightweight and almost too cushioned, would benefit from more stability. The lacing system is a little tough, not able to tighten snugly around my ankles. I got the olive and was surprised to find the color to be a little too vibrant for my liking, guess I prefer more muted tones in the great outdoors. Works great with the Topo gaiters Overall they are very comfortable and my feet do not feel fatigued after long days on the trail.

(What's this?)I was looking for a shoe to use on the Camino in Spain and I found it. I had to walk 15-20 miles a day for 7 days. Every shoe I tried was too tight in the toe box or too loose in the heel. But my waterproof Terraventure 4 WPs actually felt just right. Finally!!

(What's this?)I'm on my third pair of these and I still have the first pair in rotation for outside work. I think I bought my first pair about 6 or 7 years ago. I wear them for everything. I love how there is plenty of room in the toe box but the midsection is nice and snug so my feet firmly where they need to be. The lower heel is also a plus for me because I don't like a lot of cushion and try to maintain as close to ground as possible. #sweepstakes
