I would have given this shoe 5 stars. A perfect length for my size 11 foot. Soft suede that felt great once I got the shoe on. And that’s the issue…the suede straps were so soft, I had to struggle with getting them over my toes and foot. Maybe if I had a narrow foot, these shoes would work. But for my somewhat medium-wide foot, they were impossible. Sadly returning.

I would have given this shoe 5 stars..but….the length is fine, the suede is soft, once you get it on, it feels comfortable. But….it is a pain in the neck to get in on my foot. Unless you have a narrow foot, I wouldn’t try it, unless you have more patience than me. I had to position each strap,over my toes and foot. The suede is so soft, there’s no way I could just slip my foot into this shoe. It’s another bad disappointment from Madewell. I had a similar issue with a shoe I ordered from them last year..d’or say pump that wouldn’t stay on. Another case of great idea, poorly executed.

I'm returning this because it just isn't flattering. It might be on someone else, but on me it just looked frumpy. I think it would have helped to size down to a small (I'm normally a petite medium and got a medium, but it's too long in the arms and overall, and even for an oversized sweater it's just too big). I just didn't think the horizontal stripe was at all flattering. It does look like the photo, but bigger on me, and made me look fat no matter what I paired with it. The quality of the material was good however, not too thin or thick, and it was comfortable.

The shoes are very pretty but not what I needed. Being patent leather, they were also a bit stiff.

I had to return these because they were too large. I have the same style Madewell flat in black and they are great. I wanted another pair and I’m sorry sizing was so different.

Will not last

These are very cute flats and are fairly comfy for flats. The elastic strap holds them in place even though they run a little large. However, large patches of the silver color are wearing off the shoes after only 2 wears (not doing any unusual activities, just 2 dinners). This is super disappointing for an expensive shoe. I can't recommend them.

These pants are incredibly comfortable and I love wearing them. The only downside is that the fabric does not hold up well to any type of stain.

The fit wasn’t at all what I ordered. I ordered a narrow and they sent me medium when I called about it they said the measurements were the same as narrow. Not true there were gaps everywhere. I couldn’t even keep them on. So disappointed as I was to wear them to my granddaughters wedding.
