From the start of his lustrous career, Jean-Michel Cazabat has worked closely with the footwear industry for over 25 years. He began his luminous career in the late 70’s as a buyer and creative director for the awe-inspiring French shoe designer, Charles Jourdan. By the mid 90’s, Cazabat’s career led him onward to New York where he oversaw operations and developed products for the American marketplace as president of the distinguished shoe brand, Stephane Kelian.
With amazing drive and unending passion, Cazabat was determined to fill the luxury shoe market with exuberant designs and styles that he felt were not strongly represented. In 1999, his dream became reality with the launch of his ultra femme and colorful women’s footwear line which was followed a few years later by his rock-and-roll-inspired handmade men’s line. Fiery colors, flirtatious silhouettes, graceful detailing, gorgeous textures and signature accents adorn his luxurious designs.
