These sandals are both beautiful AND sturdy, a combination that does not often occur in women's shoes. The arches are quite high, if you have flat feet that might be uncomfortable. They are also fairly narrow. The leather is very nice and thick, and the shoe is so well constructed that I think I can look forward to wearing them for years.

If you are not into high heels (and dread each and every step you take in them) fret no more. These lift you up-up (1½") and let you stand on what seems to be even ground. No more tripping over your feet looking clumsy in heels! The colors are divine and the quality is grand. I have two pairs and just ordered a third pair in my daughter's size for her birthday (which means they are great for 30'ish and 50'ish!) Go, Kork-Ease!

When I got these I thought the golden sand color was just okay, but after wearing them around the house I decided to keep them for the comfort. I quickly realized the color is a great neutral and goes with everything. I wear these with skirts, crops, and with flare jeans for a retro vibe. I normally wear an 8.5 but the 8 fits perfectly. The only issue I had was that I could feel a lump in the right shoe where the ankle strap meets the sole, but after 3 wearings I couldn't feel it any more. The cork is springy and comfortable, and I walked all over Portland OR right after I got them. Ordering another pair in blue!

These were soooo narrow in the middle of the foot I felt like there was a mistake. If you look closely at the picture, you can see how the footbed is its own "cup" and sort of "inside" the larger part of the sole. The "lip" (?) of the footbed cut into my arch, so that a good inch or more was hanging over the edge. All my shoes are regular width, and I own the korkease leather wedge booties and they fit fine (maye a tiny narrow in the toe). So they look chunky, but the inside of the footbed is more narrow than the rest of the shoe. So they are going back. Otherwise, they are super cute and would probably be very comfortable, considering the nice materials and construction.

Absolutely love these sandals! I got my first pair a few years ago (gold) & just ordered a second pair. I've never had to "break them in" as they are so comfortable the first time you wear them. In fact, I walked all around Charleston, SC the first time I wore the second pair I purchased. I teach elementary school & these sandals are great for teaching. I have a narrow foot & these fit me perfectly, so I'm not sure if these would work with a wide foot. The only problem I had with my first pair was with the elastic on the buckle...after a couple of summers it stretched out and was about to break. I took them to a local shoeshop & they replaced the elastic. I thought the price was a bit high, but they are worth the money! I always get so many compliments when I wear these sandals....they look great with shorts and dresses.
